Everything downstream ... what exists what converts ... what hovers as an index over your bucket lists ... hangs off an "answer billboard" ... in whatever type of voice projects from it ... When you leave from here ... what do you want? ... A life story that has familiar and unique aspects sprinkled from beginning to end? ... Do you want a multiple sensory experience ... including ... marks, photographs, motion, sound, puppetry ... presented as things felt and your senses fed? ...

This is more so a journey than a library ... Even though we most definitely love all types of libraries ... You will notice that this site's spine is our life story — three decades told plainly, era by era ... and the archive enters only where the story calls for it ... Masters and drafts become open rooms along that spine ... What you meet first, then so on ... One step at a time motion ... No bricks and mortar ... no rude dispatches ... Just gaze and movement ...

Good ... Put a frame on or away ... This place has a host but you choose where to go ... to find what you want or might enjoy ... Every track is purposeful ... almost nothing is a dead zone pile of dusty and tattered files ...

Most of the works here shouldn't be too disturbing ... but some of it might evoke things — so that the truths are more accurately told ... So that this site wouldn't feel too compartmentalized ... we removed elements that seemed too obviously containing or bordered ... paraploo.com ... is a place where you should feel completely free to explore — Entertainment felt through multiple senses ...

Take all the doors off of their hinges and lay them neatly on the ground ... Draw and pull fresh water from what this is ... An experience that offers and will keep giving ... and not a slapping of labels or plethora of rejections ... Speak your imperfection and we will have been more than satisfied to mirror it ...

And if you ask what one word could cover a place with its doors laid neatly on the ground ... we have an answer for that too ...

Improv is in our practice — it's how the ore comes out ... Our asemic marks are unplanned in the moment a pen's ink touches the surface of the paper ... Ore ... an assemblage conveys what the all-consuming world hands us ... we also speak our life with a language happening not too smoothed ... Improv ... like a dove or other similar bird ... lives inside the Paraploo dome ... everywhere ...

But not over everything and here's why ... Even though we love improv very much it is approximately a little less than half of what we do ... Our language practice is quarry and mason ... Ore arrives improvised ... and then it's crafted ... Has been for decades ... Formed and Shaped Truths — is the opposite of an improv approach ... For example an improv troupe might throw a scene away when the lights come up ... we keep everything ... Meticulously name folds for days on end ... and say that absolutely nothing should get replaced ... It's more like our whole life's work with many improvised new beginnings ...

Plain-language problems ... plain reading ... to the everybody we would very much like to help in our own way ... Improv says comedy theater ... unrehearsed and disposable ... Everything here has been carefully prepared ... The only name that we see on the dome or umbrella is Paraploo ... Say it proud ... Paraploo!
