Physical To Virtual Projects About History…
Physical To Virtual Projects About History, Languages, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Wellness, And Earth's Natural Environments.
Welcome to the Official Bomayka Sens website. I'm B.W. Otto ( pen name for Brian William Otto ). Bomayka Sens is a few blocks from the Mississippi River, between Minneapolis and Saint Paul, in Ramsey County.
The area offers diverse natural landscapes: Floodplain forests, steep wooded slopes, and rich wetlands. The marshes provide a Tranquil setting to hear bird songs and conversations. Cattails weave and mingle with waterfowl as in all human senses wild ecological experience, influencing our writings and other expressing shapes and forms.
Crosby Farm Regional Park, for example, is a bird-watching paradise. During spring and fall migrations, birders flock from all over the world. The wooded bottomlands are an escape to connections with Nature's wondrous rhythms.
Our area has present moments like this and a rich history. The land around the Mississippi River's confluence is especially sacred to the Dakota people. They call it Bdote, which means "a place where two rivers come together" in the Dakota language. We have done countless recordings of the places where the Minnesota River and Mississippi River meet. It's a spirited and magnificent area. Nearby, historic Fort Snelling still stands as a witness to America's complex ( strength of power, disturbing, unfortunate ) history.
Every week, we add some new examples of our work. Arteries, flowing passages, and composed indications of where trails might lead are explored in various ways, activating and rejuvenating our five human senses.
We feel the experience of spiritually knowing a landscape goes beyond the mere perception of the physical terrain. It is an embodied presence that allows us to recognize the sacredness and divine immanence within the land. As we inhabit the landscape with all our senses, we feel the earth beneath our feet, listen to it, smell the soil after a rain, and taste the sweet and tainted air. This connection with the land allows us to acknowledge its intrinsic value beyond what it can provide and see it as more than just a backdrop for stories.
Spiritual knowing is not limited to human narratives or the utility and exploitation of the land. It invites us to contemplate the cycles of life and death, the impermanence of all things, and the mysteries that lie beyond our understanding. It recognizes that some locations are believed closer to the divine, a veil between the earthly and the spiritual. Ancient sites carry echoes of rituals, prayers, and mystical experiences. Natural wonders such as mountains, rivers, and forests evoke awe and wonder, pointing to something beyond ourselves and or more significant than ourselves.
As we fully know a landscape, we also allow ourselves to be known by it. The land recognizes us, and we become active participants in a communion of spirits and souls. The way a tree recognizes the touch of our hands, the way a river carries our whispered secrets, and the way the land holds our memories and dreams. In this way, we are not just passive observers of the land but active participants in a walk or dance of existence between the land and ourselves.
Contemplation and reverence are integral to spiritual knowing. They allow us to acknowledge the ancient wisdom of the land and step beyond human dominion. This practice invites us to listen to the land, recognize its sacredness, and honor its intrinsic value. The land at the top and through numerous layers beneath our feet is filled with sustaining and sacred gifts.
Is Heaven A Very Lovely Map Experience?
Is heaven a soft, lovely, unimaginably unique, absolutely free, infinite set of associations? For us, subject to death, having a transitory life as persons destined to die because we are susceptible to death. Such an ancient genealogy it is. [ of and amongst living things ] We cannot live forever, as the aging bodies we have. Some of us sense we are getting closer to this fact of life every day.
How The Earth Holds And Shares Precious Stories Of All Kinds.
The Earth is a treasure trove of diverse and captivating stories, each with its unique insights and lessons. These narratives span time and space, ranging from geological chronicles to river songs, mountain epics, tree rings, ocean sagas, celestial whispers, and human footprints.
Geological chronicles offer glimpses into the Earth's past, revealing stories of ancient oceans, volcanic eruptions, and shifting continents. Every fossil and sediment carries memories of life forms long gone, including ammonites and early plants. With its colorful strata, Canyons are testaments to the eons of Earth's history etched into its walls.
A gnarled oak whispers secrets of storms weathered and saplings nurtured. River songs are stories rivers tell, carving valleys, transporting sediment, and weaving landscapes. The Mississippi, the Nile, the Ganges, and the Amazon are just a few rivers that sing of civilizations that have risen and fallen along their banks. Their waters carry the echoes of laughter, tears, and rituals.
Mountain epics are tales of mountains that stand as silent witnesses to cosmic forces. The Himalayas, the Rockies, and the Andes guard tales of tectonic clashes, glaciers, and spiritual quests.
Desert chronicles are stories that deserts hold, with parched narratives of endurance and survival. Ancient petroglyphs etched into canyon walls tell of nomads, traders, and celestial events. The shifting sands conceal fossils, lost cities, and forgotten dreams.
Ocean sagas are narratives about the vast and mysterious ocean, cradling sagas of exploration, shipwrecks, and mythical creatures. Its waves carry the cries of sailors, the migrations of whales, and the dance of luminescent plankton. Dive deep, and you'll encounter Atlantis, shipwrecks, healthy, Colorful, bleached coral reefs, and more.
Prints are stories etched into the land, from ancient ruins to battlefields and sacred sites. Pyramids, temples, and stone circles are ruins where battles were fought, and pilgrims sought solace and desperately needed enlightenment.
As stewards of this planet, we are responsible for protecting the Earth's heritage. In the rustle, the flow, and the silence, the Earth whispers, "Remember that you are part of this story." Let us honor and pray for our planet and continue to add to its eternal echoes of laughter, empathy, tears, and love.
There is magic in natural places that goes beyond what we see with our eyes. The flow of water combined with the calls of birds. It's a language we can get closer to if we listen deeply. Listening to landscapes is a practice that connects us to profundities.
Through listening, we learn to attune ourselves to the ecological rhythms of the land. We become more aware of the unseen energies, histories, and stories embedded in it. In doing so, we become better faithful stewards.
Deeply listening to many types of landscapes is about nourishing our spirituality. It invites reverence, awe, and a sense of belonging. It touches us at different levels, such as listening to music and poetry and examining a painting.
We must find a spot away from distractions to engage in this listening. We should listen without judgment or preconceptions and spend time in meadows and canyons, by riverside - observing the nuances while walking or sitting.
Each landscape has its own unique sounds —musical bird songs, melodic wind whispers, and mellifluous flowing water. Learning to recognize these sounds can be an inspiring experience. Breathe in the essence of the soil's soul and exhale gratitude. More profound listening is a skill that is developed over time. Be patient. By returning to your more familiar places and noticing subtle changes, we honor the wisdom that existed long before us.

What Does It Mean To Live In God Of Creation's Wrinkles And Harmonious Flowpaths?
The beauty of human existence is often compared to the Earth's natural features. Living in Wrinkles, a poetic way to describe inhabiting landscapes shaped by forces, offers a unique perspective on Mother Earth's journey. Furrows, Creases, Folds, Ridges, Corrugations, Grooves, Guide Lines, and Clues refer to all the Natural Wonders shaped over time. They represent the accumulation of experiences, hardships that shape the character, and laughing joylines admired by all resilience.
The contour of the land can be likened to the lines etched on God's face or facade; each fold is a testament to Earth's ancient journey. Living in such a place teaches us to embrace impermanence and recognize the wisdom that comes with it. Wrinkles evoke the reality of time, reminding us that life is a journey that shapes us in ways we cannot easily predict.
Living next to paths is a way to experience beauty, symbolizing motion. Living near rivers, streams, or ocean shores allows us to listen to the whispers of water and hear the stories of its birth, flow, and merging. Being part of the current, where time flows like a river, teaches us about the ebb and flow of ancient feelings and emotions. Flowing paths symbolize the current of existence that carries us forward in a very positive way.
On some projects, we like to blend Something with a particular natural environment, capturing the peaceful beauty of poolings and ridgelines and applying vibrant colors along with the wonders. Brief Difference Between Consumer Products And Relics That Carry Deep Sacred Meanings.
Consumer goods and sacred relics are distinct categories of items with different characteristics and purposes. Consumer products are items humans create for practical purposes, like appliances, clothing, tools, furniture, technology, etc. They are designed to meet people's needs in their daily lives, make things more convenient, or enhance aesthetics.
Sacred relics hold significant spiritual value. They are set apart from the ordinary and treated with extra reverence and respect. Their purpose transcends the material world, connecting people to the divine. They are believed to have the power to offer protection.
While consumer products may have their type of value, they lack inherent supernatural powers. Again, their significance lies in their practical use or aesthetic appeal. Sacred relics are considered to have spiritual energy that goes beyond their physical form.
People casually interact with everyday consumer products and can replace, discard, or modify them without hesitation. In contrast, relics demand more reverence, purity, and respect. Disrespecting them is considered not good. Sacred relics are maintained with extraordinary devotion and care. The authenticity and lineage of these objects are of great significance because they are perceived as links between the material and the divine.
