Brrd Roots ~ Convergence of Transformations and More
Images, Sound, Movement, and Aromas
Traditional and contemporary elements converge, creating a conversation between image, text, sculpture, sound, and performance.
Words become more than language—they take on form, appearing as handwritten messages, stylized inscriptions, and layered visuals. Some are embedded in paintings, others projected onto surfaces or suspended within multi-dimensional compositions. Photography and painted fragments act as bridges between time and memory, blending abstract strokes with tangible details. Text and image merge, leading visitors through a narrative.
Sculpture and assemblage deepen the experience, creating a contrast between flat imagery and highly dimensional structures. Hanging installations hover in open space, while sculptural cut-outs invite interaction from multiple angles. Found objects take on new life, their fragmented shapes repurposed into compositions with layered depth. These pieces are designed not only to be observed but to shift with movement and perspective, transforming the surrounding environment.
Sound plays a crucial role, shaping the emotional atmosphere of the space. Art documentary videos provide insight into process and intention, while experimental audio pieces immerse visitors in non-verbal narratives. Rhythmic textures, ambient tones, and abstract compositions blend with the visual works, reinforcing the idea that art is not confined—it is heard, felt, and experienced.
Some moments are fleeting, appearing without warning before dissolving again. Costumed performers emerge spontaneously, weaving themselves into the installation, becoming part of the shifting visual language. They do not merely inhabit the space; they activate it, turning passive observation into something interactive, unpredictable, and alive.
Everything resists permanence. Artworks change as they merge, erode, and rebuild, shaping new meanings over time. The space responds to movement, adapting to the presence of those who wander through it. Here, creation is fluid, immersive, and limitless—inviting visitors into a world where art is not simply displayed, but lived.
Alchemy of Art, Memory, and Reinvention ~ Completely Still To In Motion
Our work is a conversation—an ongoing dialogue between time, material, and transformation. It carries echoes from ancient sculptures, fashions, and photographs, tracing the touch of hands shaping raw material, the layered folds of fabric, the weight of captured gazes. It leans into the ruptures of the movements, where form refuses containment and meaning shifts between poetry and function. Our ear stretches further, listening beyond, through the celebrated and the overlooked, who have reshaped artistic language over centuries.
Art is more than preservation—it is tension between tradition and emergence, unraveling the familiar and colliding classical craftsmanship with the unpredictable. We search for places where disciplines entangle, where their influence lingers, where an artwork does not merely exist but radiates—moving through the body, speaking directly to the senses.
Each cut, each carve is a form of excavation—an unfolding rather than an imposition, a negotiation rather than a demand. The material tells its own story, and our hands listen. Woods native to the region breathe with quiet history, their grains dictating movement, their fractures carrying the evidence of time. Metals enter with their own conversation—rigid, reflective, weighted with industry, yet capable of bending into sculptural fluidity. Density suspends weightless, pushing toward the ungrounded. Materials mirror nature’s unpredictability, bubbling into surfaces that mimic growth, decay, expansion.
Objects once discarded still hold whispers of their former purpose. We intercept materials before they dissolve into landfills, cutting them apart, repositioning their fragments into new sculptural arrangements. What was once whole is now layered, broken yet belonging. Light filters through multi-dimensional assemblages, slipping through open spaces designed for movement rather than obstruction. Absence transforms into presence, shadow converses with illumination, and negative space becomes an active force—shaping motion within what appears unfinished yet intentional.
Surfaces breathe, waiting for their next evolution. Adhesives, mortars, and concrete fold into textures that shift between foundation and destruction, some left fragile while others are fortified with primers—solidifying their ephemeral nature into permanence. A final coat is never just a finishing touch; it is activation, awakening into depth, allowing color to vibrate, placing structures beside raw forms in deliberate contrast. What is smooth, resolved, and refined sits beside what is fractured, restless, and incomplete, each element grounding the other.
Before multi-disciplinary exploration, our work lived in the language of painting, shaped by the expressive strokes of the past fifty years. Those years remain embedded, resurfacing in fragments of abstraction and figuration, cut details of past canvases appearing as mosaic echoes within new works. The edges—whether torn, smooth, quiet, or severe—carry overlapping timelines, weaving lost gestures into the present.
A camera serves not as an observer but as an extension of methods and techniques, capturing light as texture, movement as composition. Our cameras frame moments that might otherwise be gone forever—a street corner humming with energy, the solitude of a forest at dawn, the unnoticed pause between interaction and disappearance. These images become catalysts for new works, sparking ideas for writings, drawings, paintings, installations, performances for home land movies, their narratives shifting across mediums. Some remain digital artifacts, fleeting in their online existence; others evolve into framed archival prints, grounding themselves in physical presence.
Motion resists containment, unfolding faster than understanding, slipping away before it can be examined. We extract stills from footage, holding onto suspended movement, not as documentation but as its own living artifact. A frozen action is a question rather than a conclusion. Some frames later become paintings, others magnified and distorted, reprinted again and again until their meaning bends and reshapes itself. Print, rephotograph, manipulate, print again—the cycle continues, each repetition shifting the image further away from what it once was, oscillating between clarity and abstraction.
So where do we go from here? It does not follow a single path but stretches outward, expanding beyond expectation, resisting definition. Materials breathe in uncertainty, objects refuse disposability, textures shift under the weight of transformation. Assemblages rise in conversation with movement of light and other physical interactions, photographs collapse into sculpture, thought moves between absence and presence. Everything is connected—threaded together in a network of movement, memory, and reinvention.
Work Is Alive ~ A Journey Through Memories, Movement, and Unfinished Business
Our work is an exploration—an ever-shifting, living presence that refuses to be confined by definitions or expectations. It moves like a wandering spirit, carrying fragments of sound, vision, motion, aromas, and memory through time and space. It bends and flows, slipping between the tangible and the ephemeral, weaving through ceremonies, nature, chaos, and clarity alike.
Through layers of history, reflection, and raw sensation, the work invites receivers to step into undefined spaces, where truth mingles with ambiguity and invention meets intuition. It does not always seek perfection but thrives in movement, contradiction, uncertainty, and deliberate healing.
At its core, this is a process—a rhythm of investigations, experiments, and curiosity that never settles, never pauses, never asks permission. It carries past voices and future visions, watching as they blossom into the present, strongly stated to understated. And whether anyone is paying attention or not, the work continues forward, propelled by the essence of its own becoming.
Our work is a voice calling out—a chant reaching for kindred spirits, weaving through the unseen layers. In the present moment, it shifts between shadows and light, drawing out concerns and glimpses of hope—for humanity, for the world, for what lies ahead.
When we walk, our work moves with us. It winds through thick and thin, bends and meanders, forming a vine that builds forests from green abundance while leaving bare-bones woods standing beside wide rivers. It stretches across seasons, shifting as rain cools orange-mauve sunsets, their warmth spilling onto the surfaces of sculptures and exhibits that refuse to sit well. A hawk, a crow—both soaring against a sky.
Our energy flows like streams and waves, slipping into rituals, benedictions, the quiet purity of salt. Our work exists inside sound, stretching across layered compositions that roll, brush, slip, drip, and stroll. It’s a harmony in motion—exhilarating, recorded at moments in time that scatter far beyond. Handwritten words, millions of marks, create music across surfaces, unfolding into hours of sound and vision woven together.
It travels, crossing borders into remote destinations, finding its place where intoxicated community singers release their songs into the darkness, where voices rise in ceremonious celebrations of movement and dreams. Our work does not demand perfection; it exists as just something, yet deliberate, free of expectation. It plays, interprets, shifts like glass marbles tossed into ocean waters, spreading translucent music across time.
It spans emotions—slipping between heaven and secret gardens, pulling viewers into undefined spaces before guiding them back toward reality, touchable and clear. Some pieces are stillest, others bob from holes as part of shifting currents. Blankets and curtains hang like common frivolous ghosts behind feet, hinting at motion without revealing a step.
The work is deep, murky, shallow—plastic, odorless glue, forgotten fragments swept up and stored. Our humor stretches to snorkels, layering vibrance over the new and the unexpected. It bathes in artificial light like a sun made for philosophers, floating somewhere between immigrant transmissions and surreal messages of space-traveling spirits.
Sometimes, we become that spirit, drifting across continents, slipping between dimensions, leaving our worldly efforts stacked high like accumulated rides, souvenirs, and discoveries for those new to the strange—slow and fast, restless and calm. They come—students, impatient anesthesiologists, art lovers—and the work watches them arrive.
Our hints. They expose the blue chip murderers. Our local exports comfort the lost, sweeping together spotless fragments of micro-incidences too universal to ignore. Lazy respites become objects that stare back at the curious. Our compositions love mirrors, reflecting back pieces of blue-sky optimism, the giggling of wild animals, the quiet grin of truth-making processes.
Some of our works have legs, but not always literally. Sometimes they ride a professor’s bicycle through brew house buildings, past goats peering through tiny windows, past wood-and-lambskin umbrellas appearing bold against a sun that refuses to let up.
Our work flutters under the weight, shifts mid-translation, becomes faceless chaos. Sprinting into vivid insanity. Hunker down, striped sweatpants slacker. And don’t, for the love of all things logical, eat the sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide tainted ice or snow.
Where do we push it next? Maybe toward subliminal sensations, the feel of a mosaic threaded together, where no piece truly knows if it belongs but holds its place anyway. Why is it so quiet?
The work earns prosperity, then spends countless hours earning nothing—investigations, experiments, pure curiosity refusing to be capitalized. Sometimes, ideas simmer beneath hot lamps, waiting for the right moment to melted a faster rate. And so, it moves forward, again and again, whether we're watching or not.
Living Archive ~ Where Thought Breathes, Memory Whispers, and Reality Bends
This is no ordinary archive—it does not sit quietly, collecting dust like an old encyclopedia in a forgotten library corner. No, this moves tilting on its axis like it just remembered it had an unscheduled existential crisis minutes past noon. It reinvents itself mid-sentence, shifting from a museum into a performance, then into a maze, then into a slightly unhinged symposium where every idea arrives wearing a different disguise. It remembers everything—but not in the tidy way you might expect. It remembers like a storm remembers the scent of rain, like a bird remembers the weight of roots, like a dream remembers the places you’ve never been but somehow recognize.
Its the foundation that comes up with the important questions. A sprawling labyrinth of thought, its corridors lined with theories so slippery they refuse to be held, whispering secrets like wind through half-opened windows. Here, mind-body revelations pulse in glowing filaments, strung between disciplines like an impossible game of cat’s cradle. Unresolved truths. Oh, they roam freely, lounging in corners like enigmatic guests.
Knowledge without sensation. That’s like a symphony played inside a soundproof vault. This place breathes in layers—with scent, movement, music that shakes the floorboards like laughter breaking loose from a forgotten memory. We twist history into motion then scholars translate it all. The music bends into remembrance, while artists build spaces that curve like California freeway sentences. Cougars waiting to be completed. Here, nothing is passive. You don’t just look—you absorb, listen, inhale.
Emotional resonance. It’s not always gentle—it’s sometimes a tidal pull of confrontation and recognition, the realization that sometimes therapy isn’t about solutions, it’s about standing in the middle of a void and hearing your existence. Some rooms are like kindred somethings, humming a tune with the weight of half-awake patients, waiting for visitors who might them a bowl of sweet applesauce.
Of course, the archive isn’t just for reflection—it’s a crucible of creation, where inventors and makers fold reality into new stuff. Is that wall murmuring?
The audience. Ever-shifting, ever-sculpting. Some visitors wander in alone, drawn into the space like received leaves caught in a turning current. Others arrive as human clusters, energy spilling from their conversations, their delight, their reckless curiosity that defies every obvious sign. The archive listens to all of the footsteps and hesitations.
Then come the surreal fragments—odd rhythms, cryptic verses carved into invisible surfaces. No bullet friends, no poet grams—just thought unraveling itself like loose thread on the sleeve of Godly time. No winners or losers, no urns or graves, only themes suggesting trans people formations. The panda boy conjures visions, malls stretch across deserts where mouths are plump to thin, and redemption refuses to be about prevention. Somewhere in the distance, prison bars dissolve into tomorrow’s lovely morning sky auras, shifting subtly a little bit without permission. Shake the bugs off the rugs. We’re done here for now.
Absurdist Murmuring Manifesto
Chaotic Celebration
Time flickers—years unspool, unravel, rewind.
Drafty to-do lists rewrite themselves in slow-motion.
Automatic crossing devices beep in reverse—
No one moves, yet everyone arrives.
Stored information dissolves into the void,
Teletubbies form an intergalactic council,
Purple Tinky Winky, Green Dipsy, Yellow Laa-Laa,
Red Po—Patrons of forgotten wisdom.
Monitor stickies multiply—
A million, then a billion—
Until the tech industry collapses beneath
A landslide of annotated reminders:
"Don’t forget to remember to forget."
Somewhere, beyond corporate decay,
A woolly lamb stares into infinity.
"Look closer," whispers the wind—
But innocence has already fled.
A financial tiger sits beside her,
Knitting existential crisis into soft woolen scarves.
Her hungry soul now fed—
By the taste of quiet rebellion.
And then—thunder.
An enormous flock rises,
Flowing like spilled ink,
A thousand spirits gathered in murmuration,
Moving toward an unknown, unavoidable truth.
Comparable to nothing else.
We ask:
"What domain holds this gracious extended event?"
No answer—only wind, only motion.
A service is needed—one that drags a little,
But fits the bill.
But fits the silence.
But fits the space between chaos and calm.
And so, onward—toward a hovering-over-Earth system.
Alien-paid-for hooks extend,
Seats booked, Zoom Zoom—
Acceleration slow, gravity thinning—
Excitement rising, reason dissolving.
The pandemic whispers warnings—
Stellular meetings shift the tides of fate,
Blood and urine results scatter among shattered polycarbonate panels.
And yet, national leaders remain in clouds,
Untouched by consequence.
Penny-wise, pound foolish—
Regulations ripped apart with casual elegance,
A masterpiece of destruction,
Signed by the indifferent.
Yet somewhere, at the margins,
A few keen-eyed bystanders remain—
Sharp enough to see it all at once.
To understand.
To act.
To rewrite the murmuration.
To find its meaning,
Before it vanishes entirely.
Murmuration Beyond Time
Time had unraveled. Years no longer followed the rules; they had switched, twisted, and reassembled themselves into chaotic drafts of existence—stored, overwritten, endlessly synced. Notes flickered in and out of consciousness, full of incomplete research segments circled for attention, yet never quite resolved.
The world was drowning in drafty to-do lists, automatic crossing devices ticking forward with no destination. Information stored for day-to-day syncs became obsolete before it could be used. The rhythm of life—everyday slurps and burps—echoed through dimly lit streets, broken only by the distant echoes of past cultural touchstones.
Teletubbies still existed, somehow. Stinky Winky, Dipsy, La-La legends among the forgotten, their names whispered in uncertain tones. They were the remnants of a world that once dreamed. But what did it dream of now?
Elsewhere, composed hands copied and pasted themselves across screens. The tech industry, an infinite hive of monitor stickies, sought solutions in fragments, notes, fleeting ideas. A million or more tech geniuses scoured for meaning, but meaning had slipped away, like a woolly lamb lost in the tall grass.
Look a little closer at this lamb. Innocence still exists here, but just beyond it prowls the financial tiger, its hunger relentless. It frequently bears her hungry soul, desperate for sustenance in a world that traded dreams for transactions.
And then—thunder. The sky ripped open. An enormous flock of birds, flowing in unison high over a precious, wide-open landscape. A thousand spirits gathered, murmuration for unknown reasons. Truly innocent by all means, bound together by something unfathomable. Comparable to nothing else.
“What domain is this type of gracious extended event tied to?” the question lingered in the air. If only there was a service of sorts—one that might drag a little but fit the bill. Something slow, imperfect, but true.
Then came the hovering-over-Earth system. Alien-paid-for hooks latched onto satellites, promising escape. “Book your seat now,” the ads blared—Zoom Zoom—off the surface, slow acceleration shifting into a lack of gravity, excitement rising.
The most recent pandemic had taught everyone the value of stellular meetings, the necessity of small polycarbonate panel blood and urine results. Yet, nearly foolproof national leaders drifted in clouds of their own making, unable to see the big picture. Penny wise, pound foolish, they blindly tore up the most critical environmental regulations, tossing them aside as though they meant nothing.
But a few keen government bystanders stood at the edge, sharp enough to see the entirety at a glance.
Would they act?
Would anyone?
Or would the world continue to swirl in its murmuration of unknown reasons, flowing in unison toward something beyond comprehension?
The birds are more than just a spectacle—they embody a force beyond human understanding, a gathering shaped by instinct, mystery, and something ancient.
Imagine the sky darkening—not in fear, but in awe—as a thousand wings beat in synchronized waves, a living entity moving as one. The murmuration folds and shifts, twisting like ink in water, breaking apart only to reform again in perfect cohesion. An enormous flock, bound by an unspoken code, weaving an aerial tapestry over the open landscape.
They flow as if drawn by an unseen magnetic force, their movement shaped not by individual will but by collective impulse. Each bird senses the one beside it, adjusting in an instant—a conversation of bodies without words, a shared understanding faster than thought.
And in that breathtaking, sweeping motion, something undeniable stirs. Why do they gather? What unknown signal calls them here? A thousand spirits moving in harmony, innocent by all means—comparable to nothing else.
