Instructions for Climbing the Oyparaploo Spiral

---

Strip everything away. Enter the workshop carrying nothing but curiosity.

The keystone waits at the center—not holding things up but holding them together. One piece looks backward through debris. Another watches this exact moment break and reform.

*

The spiral builds itself while you watch.

Philosophy holds water in the basement.
All species meet on the first floor.
Rage runs through the walls fast as light.
The archaeologist digs in the attic, finding tomorrow's fragments.

Nobody designed this house. It designed itself.

*

Death arrives first. Always.
Speed screams in second, leaving tire marks.
Garbage shows up thirty years late, right when needed.
Truth enters last, still deciding which face to wear.

They know where to stand. Like they've done this before.

*

Two witnesses:

One reads backward—bicycle tracks through wreckage, footprints circling until the dirt turns holy.

One watches creation speak to the workshop, watches tools lean in, watches broken pieces recognize each other.

Both are you.
Both are now.
Both climbing.

*

The secret:

Making is the made thing.
Process is product.
The dig is what you find.

You thought you were reading. You were climbing. Each piece a foothold worn smooth. Each line another breath up. The spiral forgetting nothing.

*

Underground meets overground.
Inside knows outside.
Sacred stops being elsewhere.

The workshop opens both ways—roots down, sky up. The archaeologist understands: these bones I'm finding are mine. Still warm. Still climbing.

*

The method:

Enter naked of answers.
Let fragments find each other.
Let broken stay broken but beautiful.
Let the spiral talk.

Climb with your whole body. Feel death teach grip. Speed teach stillness. Garbage teach grace.

*

You're not reading about change.
You're in it.
Hands dirty from it.
Breathing its particular dust.

The keystone isn't one piece—it's when all pieces remember they were never separate. Always one workshop. One spiral. One long climb toward what's been waiting.

*

At the top (also the bottom, also the center):

The naked archaeologist finds their own bones.
Warm.
Growing.
Becoming what they study.

You know you've arrived when:
You were always here.
The workshop was always home.
The climbing was the destination.

Naked, real, covered in the dust of your own becoming.

The bicycle wheel watches from its corner.
Remembers most of it.
Probably approves.
