notes: First piece of the LitUp-adjacent body of work. Ars poetica for the teaching project. Contains the first embedded instance of "LitUp" within a piece. Ends on the muskie image, which models the teaching method in figure form. Title revised post-lock from "Our Sense(s)" to "A worded image of Our Senses" at elder's direction — the new title signals the piece is one instance of a piece about sensing, not a comprehensive treatment, without triggering the five-senses misreading. "Worded image" is an elder coinage that may recur in future pieces.

A worded image of Our Senses

We're in an ... eyes drenched ... desire for open space ... corrosive ground ... new era ... Ecosystems have been fragmented and in worst scenarios obliterated ... Polluted with beautiful ferocious and dangerous garbage ... as we see it through deliberately ... absurd irrepressible optimism or non (p)jollyanna ... lens.

Unassuming open yourselp LitUp then lay down on The Land ... RR ... Reader Receiver slow down ... and forget about the passages in your rear mirror ... for Now ... witness ... Skin and or Flesh beneath ... Listen to the ground underneath your body ... FEEL ... what we make of "is what it is +" ... polysemous compressed ... Too many people in a Found and Lost place ... continuum ... Turn Reflect Genuflect Open ... Flag a sound tongue ... softer at the tip ... Vulnerable ... if it registers warm full heart LIBERAL ARTS checks and balances

This opportunity to teach in this way received its remote to familiar voice ... that matters to everyday hope ... Addresses your receiver directly ... Arrive as a meaningless performance before an institution's influence ... Reframe written and media content as reception ... we give This Thing to you ... suspended and sweetly embedded in a mysterious elusive muskie nearly impossible to catch ... But worth the tries.
