Insanely Good Art as Text, including What We Are Not
Oyparaploo is not just an adaptation. Oyparaploo is not unnecessarily captivating and or unique. Oyparaploo is not a traditional ~ chanson, hip-hop, or rap. Oyparaploo is not mostly found rising from an island celebration. Oyparaploo is not solely involved with exploring rivalries of ambition. Oyparaploo is not occupied with manufacturing a particular telling lens to adversely construct and shape a nation. Oyparaploo is not a participant in abolishing time and again proven facts and truths for the sake of human greedy self interests. Oyparaploo is not immersed into the sitting at a desk forward bent insidious counting of scores and vendettas.
Super Couches Of Veins
What flows in through the eyes travels somewhere. Deposits itself. We think we're passive. The blood knows better.
The couch is where we go when we can't stand anymore. The tender places — inside of the wrist, behind the knee. Where we're almost transparent. Emotion must flow or it clots. The watching is a kind of weeping that doesn't announce itself.
Where collapse is permitted. Images enter and travel to rooms we don't have keys to. Something is being metabolized. We won't know what until later.
Whose hands made the couch. The veins of labor that disappear into the finished thing. The permission to stop. The body continues its work even when we quit. There's something merciful in that.
Blood moves while we sit still. The couch has its own anatomy — springs, stuffing, channels where dust accumulates. The velvet worn thin where he always sits. Over years, two bodies learning each other.
The contradiction held without flinching. Thought and explosion in the same frame. The flick moves fast but the watching thinks slow.
Violence that asks permission to mean something. The fist lands and we feel it in the chest before we understand why. Tenderness wearing armor.
The part of us that needs to see bodies in motion solving problems we can't solve sitting still. The mind working something out through someone else's muscles. Something was fought on our behalf.
Who gets to hit. Who deserves to fall. Is this rescue or revenge. We're implicated either way.
The flinch when the glass breaks. Breath held through the fall. The body believes what the eyes see. Afterward, the strange exhaustion of having gone nowhere.
Thunderous and Cranky Love Riding War Horses
Love that refuses to be polite about itself. Loud enough to shake the floor. The cranky part knows better than to trust easy affection.
The feeling that shows up irritable because it's too big for the room. Not the love that waits to be invited. Kicks open the door still wearing its boots.
The war horse knows where the battles are. Cranky from old wounds that healed crooked. Armored softness. Riding toward what it fears losing.
Love that fights. The cranky part refuses false peace. The thunderous part refuses silence when silence is betrayal. This love takes sides. It cannot afford to be neutral.
The hooves in the chest. Cranky lives in the jaw, the tight shoulders. Thunder felt in the bones before the ears. Love that arrives winded. Love that has traveled far.
Mesmeric Shines Like That First Fall of a Maple Leaf. Drone Camera Floating, Gorgeous.
The moment before we know we're watching. The shine catches us first. The maple leaf doesn't announce its fall — we look up and it's already tilting. Attention chose us.
Gorgeous that aches. The first fall carries all the falls after it. The shine is borrowed time. Something in us releases with the leaf. We didn't know we were holding it.
The trance state. Mesmeric as permission to stop thinking and just receive. The leaf falls without deciding to fall. For a moment, no separation. The gorgeous is the relief of not having to be anywhere else.
Who gets to float. The drone cost money. The leaf costs nothing but a summer's work. Someone framed it, chose the angle. The leaf doesn't know it's being watched. Is this witness or theft.
The shine hits the eye before the mind names it. The leaf spirals and the inner ear follows. Gorgeous lands in the throat — the small catch before breath continues. We feel autumn arriving through the skin before the calendar says so.
Rare to Find a Place That Presents Such Unusual Quietness
Most places leak noise. This one holds still. The painter needs the quiet not for comfort but for hearing — the small sounds underneath that only surface when the loud stops.
The ache of rarity. To find the quiet place and know it might not stay. Unusual quietness isn't empty — it's a room waiting to be filled by something that matters.
The quiet place is also interior. The painter has to find it twice — outside and in. The mind wants noise, wants distraction, will invent emergencies to avoid the blank surface. Intentional is the discipline of returning.
Who gets a quiet place to work. Who gets time. Most painters of life are interrupted by the labor of staying alive. Does the story serve more than the teller. Does timeless mean anything if the present is on fire.
Combining Child Curiosity with Mastery of Imperfections
The child asks what the adult forgot to wonder. Mastery is not perfection — it's knowing which flaws to keep. The crack lets the light in.
Curiosity before fear set in. The child picks up the dead bird to look closer. The master picks up the broken thing and sees what it's becoming. Imperfections as evidence of living.
The child mind stays available. The master mind knows how to use what it's given. Combined: play with weight. Immersion happens when the watcher forgets they're watching.
Allowed is not the same as taken. Someone consented to be seen. The gaze that lasts hours is not casual — it's a promise to stay. Imperfections as honesty: the smooth thing lies.
Child curiosity lives in the leaning forward, the fingers reaching before permission. Mastery lives in the hands that have done this ten thousand times. Hours of gazing changes the eyes — the dryness, the softened focus, the forgetting to blink.
We didn't expect to enter. Hours pass and we don't notice. That's not entertainment. That's a kind of love.
Mirrored by Space and Time Light Quiet Colorful Swan Pond and Unicorn Head Memories
The mirror shows us back to ourselves but changed. Memory mirrors what happened and what we needed to have happened. The swan becomes more elegant than it was. The unicorn head appears in the reflection though it wasn't there.
The swan carries grace it doesn't earn — it just is. The unicorn carries longing for what never existed. Both live in the same pond.
Space holds us. Time moves through us. Quiet colorful is the psyche's preferred state — not too much, not too little. The adjectives pile up because one word isn't enough.
What do we owe the reflection. The swan did not consent to be our symbol. The first time anyone felt anything visually was also the first taking — the eye as thief. We saw and called it ours.
Light enters the eye and becomes signal. Quiet is felt in the stilled breath. Colorful lands in the chest as expansion — more room suddenly. The swan's neck is a curve the body wants to follow.
The first visual feeling imprinted something the mind still chases. We've been trying to get back to that pond ever since. To see beauty and know it won't stay.
Probing Sincere and Serious Social Issues Poetically
The probe goes in sideways. Poetically means not announcing the wound, just pressing near it.
Anti swimmingpool: refusing the clean blue rectangle, the chlorinated leisure of the comfortable. The body that won't be contained in the lane.
Blue-eyed angels painted by hands that never saw the desert where the story started. The saint's face borrowed from the patron's cousin. Someone else's face on someone else's god. Whose heaven.
Nationalism as captured emotion — the real love of home twisted into uniform. The goosebump at the anthem, the hand on the chest. Involuntary until it's required.
Militaristic power held by the super wealthy: the purchase of violence, the broadcast of permission. Radio and television as confession booths where the priest is also selling something.
The old megaphones losing volume, buying louder ones. Struggling is not the same as stopping. Empires struggle in the boardroom. Bodies struggle in the street.
Sincere and serious are not the same. Sincere feels. Serious thinks it should. The poetic approach lets the feeling in without the lecture.
Probing Sincere and Serious Social Issues Poetically
Anti swimming pool: refusing the managed blue. The lie of containment — edges, filters, someone testing the pH. The murky water where things actually live.
Blue eyed angel is the replacement face. The original story overwritten by the patron's preferences. Romantic Christian art: beauty made from terror, gold leaf over the burning. Whose features on the icon. We wanted the divine and got a portrait of power.
Nationalism was once just knowing where you're from. Now it's held captive — chained to boots and broadcasts. The child who loved home before they were handed a flag and told what to hate.
The super wealthy individual buys the signal. Singular — one person can buy this much silence. The broadcast enters through the ears whether we open the door or not.
Media empires struggling to thrive. Struggling is not the same as falling. Even decline is violent when you're that size.
Sincere is the trembling hand. Serious is the hand that steadies itself for the camera. The probe that risks something enters poetically — disguised as image, arriving before the defenses wake.
Four Different Ways to Connect a Hundred Dots on a Rising Platform
The dots exist before the connecting. Someone scattered them. Someone else draws the lines. Four ways, not one — the pattern isn't fixed. The mind chooses.
Rising platform: the ground isn't neutral. The floor tilts while you're trying to stand. The body adjusting balance, the inner ear recalibrating, the slight nausea of ground that won't stay still.
Characters questioning every frozen answer. The answer that stopped moving, that called itself done. Thawing requires heat. Heat requires fuel. Fuel has a cost. The clenched jaw, the held breath, the shoulders that won't drop — then the exhale, the softening, the risk of falling apart.
Visiting places obviously divided. The room where the agreement was made. The forest where the bodies are. The debris wings where the paperwork rots. The wall and the belief that built it. Inseparable.
Under-the-table-billion-dollar favors. Special means someone was chosen and someone was not. Dusty means it's been going on long enough to accumulate. The body that crouches to receive. The body that reaches to give. Money like that stays abstract.
A hundred dots is overwhelming until someone starts. Four ways means anxiety and freedom in the same breath. Who scattered the dots. Who built the platform. Who decides which ways are allowed.
Washington Heads and Suits Surveying the Naked Eyes of Big Brother
Cruel and fearful in the same body. The heads and suits in Washington operate the watching — they are not the eye, they run it. Cruelty as fear's uniform. Surveying is eye work. Operating is hand work.
Big brother's naked eyes: exposed or exposing. The paranoid structure made visible. Unprotected, drying out, needing to blink. A body that is all eye — no stomach, no feet, no tenderness.
Secret wooden boxes on the saddles of liquored up camels racing around a track. The absurdity that makes the dread bearable. The long neck, the ridiculous gait, the smell of alcohol and animal. Who poured the liquor. Who profits from the race. Treasures bouncing along, hidden from accounting, from justice. The thud and rattle of things no one is supposed to know exist.
All bets submitted. Hands empty. Nothing left to do but feel. The moment the ego surrenders control.
What happens when a proud girl embraces a transported crisp trailer parking lot. Pride that survives what it was given, not what it chose. Transported means moved or means transfigured. Crisp means new or means cold. Arms open. Chest expands.
She holds what isn't meant to be held. The parking lot is solid. She came from elsewhere. Her body remembers where.
What Are Wearables Similar to Coastal Peapod Wedding Dresses
The questions don't want answers. They want the asking to stay open.
Wearables similar to coastal peapod wedding dresses: the feeling of being both contained and about to open. The peapod is smooth outside, seamed inside. The wedding dress is a container that transforms. Coastal means edge — salt air on the face, wind pulling at hems. Whose ceremony. Whose tradition. Whose hands stitched it.
What is a sun almost smiling. The emotion that doesn't quite arrive. Warmth that holds back. The squint before the full light, skin anticipating heat. Almost is the key word. The smile might not come.
What is the steel shell of bright safety orange lights that feel so familiar or expected. The protection that announces itself. Hard surface that doesn't give. The color hits the eye before the mind names it. We've been trained to expect it. Expected by whom. Familiar isn't the same as safe. So expected it disappears.
What is the divinity of sacred flesh exactly. The body as site of holiness. The pulse under the skin we call divine because we don't understand it. Exactly is the wrong word. Tenderness toward what will die.
What are subjective and subversive spider brain tiles emerging and suspended in a night dream. The pattern-making that happens underneath. The web spun in the skull. Thoughts arriving we didn't choose. The body paralyzed, floating, watching images tile the dark. Moving and still at once. The only place these tiles can exist without explanation.
Who Is Most Successful at Eluding Public Notability
The ones who win by disappearing. Success measured by what didn't get seen. The body that steps out of the frame. The face turned from the camera.
Expensive documentation devoid of formalities. The record kept for self, not for proof. No ribbon-cutting, no applause track. The loneliness of the archive. Boxes no one opens.
If praise never happens. The hollow where the echo should be. The orphaned work that mothered itself. The ears that never hear it. We make anyway.
Rambling on about restaurant delicacies and shallow amusements. The pleasure of surface. The permission to not mean anything for a moment. The mouth remembering taste. The superego napping. Shallow as rest.
The passionate need to quickly jot down thoughts using a black medium-tip Sharpie marker. The urgency of capture. The thought that will die if not caught now. The thickness that feels right between the fingers. The squeak on paper. Speed in the wrist. Ink that doesn't erase.
Then immediately after, create something wearing a blindfold, then blinders on. First all dark. Then selected dark. The hand leading the mind. Trusting the body to be honest.
Organic and wondrously personal. The psyche recognizing its own handwriting in the dark. The fingerprint in the work that no one else could leave.
Almost Everybody Everyday Understands That Fixation with Oradour-sur-Glane
The village left as it fell. The ruins preserved so we cannot forget. 642 people. Not a symbol. Bodies.
The disaster artist fixation: the one who looks at what shouldn't be looked at and makes something. Fixation as method. We return to the wound because leaving it alone feels like abandonment.
Tragic midnight shadows with outlines of light added. The body traced on a wall. The artist's refusal to let darkness have the last word. Adding what makes the absence visible. State of mind: the heavy, holy, unbearable weather of entering ruin.
Almost everybody everyday carries this while making coffee, while tying shoes. The trauma that enters the cultural unconscious, becomes wallpaper, must be re-seen.
Inevitable surreal place and time recovery. The guilt of continuing. The psyche's insistence on surviving despite. The body heals around the wound whether we want it or not. Scar tissue forming. Surreal because the feeling doesn't match the calendar.
Without words welcome. The door opens and language waits outside. Arms that open. The embrace that asks nothing. The only language left.
Fully woke sense of healing. Not healed. Not numbed. Not over it. Awake inside the wound, tending it.
Knowing very well in that moment unimaginable loss. The contradiction held. Cannot picture it, cannot stop picturing it. The body shakes. The tears come from nowhere. The body knows what the mind calls unimaginable. The body was there, or bodies like ours were there.
The body remembers.
B. W. Otto, Born 1959, Hutchinson, Minnesota
Unique personalized history serving to reconcile a host of regrets. They travel together. They have mass. They need hosting.
Not having acted soon enough to address exposed sores, festering boils, figurative carnage. The cost of inaction. What happens when we don't tend.
Filling the ground with an unrecognizable voiceover. The voice laid down like seed, like burial. We don't recognize our own sound played back.
B. W. Otto. The specific life. The body that emerged in that year, that place. Specific weight. Specific cells.
Not loneliness, just alone during these moments. The distinction matters. Alone is a state. Loneliness is a suffering. One is generative. One is not.
Sort of handsome if we shift and look from more than one perspective. The hedged self-love. Permission to see kindly without arrogance. The face that is good-looking if you tilt your head.
Spoken word developer. Pen firmly and loosely held. The paradox of control and surrender in the same grip. Knowing when to tighten, when to release. Curved lines: the arm's arc, the shoulder's rotation, the breath that makes the line smooth. The body knowing before the eye judges.
Influenced by universal communal highlights and stricken attitudes. Shared joy and shared wound. The postures we inherit.
Sometimes, although rarely, graphically revealing every depicting process at one time. The vulnerability of showing how it's done. The seams visible. The labor made real.
Neurodivergence reimagined. The brain that works differently, reframed as method. Not casting away anything that is at play.
Every part included. Nothing amputated. Everything belongs.
