The Methodology

The Workshop

Tools on the wall. Everything within reach. The methodology is not the practice — it is the map. The practice is the territory. If the map says there is no river but you can hear water, trust the water.

Core Concepts

Two laws, three concepts, four virtues, one turn. Everything grows from this ground.

Craft Tools

The tools used to shape the writing. Each one a different kind of work.

Systems

The larger structures that hold the practice together at scale.

The Sound of the Practice

Nine conventions that produce the Oyparaploo sound. Not rules — terrain the water follows.

First person plural
We instead of I. The collective is not an argument. It is an invitation that has already been accepted.
Ellipsis as breath
Space before, ellipsis, space after. The pause floats between thoughts, belonging to neither.
Present tense
The eternal present. This is happening. Right now. You are here.
Coffee-shop register
How people actually talk. Academic vocabulary when it is the right word. No academic syntax.
Imperfections kept
The stumble, the restart, the unfinished. A person with hands and doubts made this.
The we that cracks
Keep the plural as long as possible. Then — only once — let it crack into I. At the threshold.
