The love and connection we have with others is what…
The love and connection we have with others is what allows us to sustain when we experience pain caused by grief. When a loved one passes away it is the love of others that is most needed. To make grieving a warm and connected process it is important for us to be compassionate with ourselves first and then seek the help of others. There are a variety of support groups available. There is the option to volunteer at organizations or clubs that align with our interests. It is important for us to take a step out of our comfort zone. Do the first Google search. Find out what's going on in our area. Every day make a little progress. Do something that is calming and soothing. We should allow ourselves some time to take a break from our grief. Allow ourselves to be happy. We might be very sad about our loss, but it does not have to be so raw. In our living spaces, we can also display memories of loved ones as a still-life arrangement, or go further and create an elaborate ofrendas to honor our loved ones. This recently passed loved one is no longer physically present, but our affection for them never dies.
